Danny grew up in Joplin and Clinton, MO. His career in ministry began in 1978 at his home church, FBC, Clinton, MO, as Minister of Youth & Activities. He met his wife, Connie, at Southwest Baptist University where he earned a degree in Religion and Church Recreation. Danny went on to earn his master’s degree in Religious Education, at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He served for 12 years as the Minister of Education and Administration at FBC, Sedalia, MO before coming on staff here in 1996. Danny and Connie have three adult children: Melissa, Amanda, and Spencer, 3 Grandchildren and their dog Dori.  Connie is a retired secretary from Lakeside Intermediate School. In ministry Danny enjoys training leaders, starting new Connect Groups, reaching out to new people, and coordinating many ministries of the church. In his spare time, Danny enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and other sports, natural creation, home improvement, listening to Smooth Jazz and Oldies, cookies & cream shakes, and cheering for the Chiefs and the Razorbacks!
